SKY MIC Vol. 2 #10 // 13.12.2025

Roe Byrne

Dublin singer-songwriter Roe Byrne discovered music early, inspired by his father’s work as a stage technician and his first experiences at live shows. After starting on drums and later switching to guitar, he found his voice at 13 and shaped his sound through YouTube tutorials, open mics and, above all, busking in Dublin. The passing of his grandfather — who always encouraged him — marked a turning point in his artistic journey.

In 2024, his collaboration with twocolors opened the door to the German market, followed by his role as co-writer and vocalist on David Puentez’s radio hit “Burn.” Roe’s emotional pop-folk, influenced by Dermot Kennedy, Hozier and John Mayer, continues to attract a growing audience. With support from Dermot Kennedy, Roe is emerging as one of Ireland’s most promising new artists.

fiora

fiora is a singer and songwriter from Göttingen – a fresh, rising voice carving her own path between indie and bedroom pop: warm, intimate, unmistakably her. Born in 1999, raised on German rap, pop, and living-room Singstar sessions, she steps onto the stage early, learns piano and guitar, and discovers her love for performing. At 20 she moves to Göttingen to study, but one open-mic changes everything – suddenly the vision is clear: music is where she belongs. She starts writing, first in English, then in German – more raw, more personal, more powerful. Shows multiply, a video goes viral, and the gate to the music world swings open. Berlin studios follow, the degree is left behind, the artist steps forward. After her debut “viertel nach vier,” her second single “fahrrad” arrived on May 17, 2024 – a cinematic, tender track about farewell, pain, and rebirth. Self-produced with support from Alexander John, it’s proof of her depth, timing, and bold new tone. fiora is one to watch.

Kii

Kii from Regensburg defies every artist stereotype. Marked by early heartbreak, he turned music into his outlet and built an identity rooted in radical authenticity. Kii doesn’t hand out answers — he raises questions about masculinity, society, and the self.

His sound is melancholic, reflective and always tinged with a subtle wink. Rather than traditional rap, he delivers emotion with attitude: songs about pain, doubt and the strength to reinvent oneself — honest, raw and never without hope. Genre-fluid and distinct, his music shifts from dark to playful while maintaining a unique edge. Visually and sonically inspired by Drake, Tyler, The Creator and 070 Shake, Kii blends raw studio aesthetics with genre-crossing elements.
